Parents Workshops

We offer workshops to help parents develop skills to support their children academically and socially. Additionally, these workshops will provide parents with ideas on how to proactively approach the developmental needs of their children.

Why Parents Workshops?

We believe that student success begins at home. Parents are the most important figures in a student’s development, and ensuring parents are fully committed and equipped is crucial to your teachers’ impact.

To aid in this mission, we offer direct and indirect workshops to increase parent involvement in school life, as well as helping them develop skills to support their student at home, academically and socially. Additionally, these workshops will provide parents with ideas on how to proactively approach the developmental needs of their children.

Indirect Support Parent Workshops.

We train and co-plan with administrators, PTA members, and parent & family coordinator to lead direct support parents workshops.

This option is more time and resource consuming, but it creates lasting institutional knowledge about how to plan, organize, and run parents workshops. After one indirect support parent workshop, your school will be empowered to run direct support parents workshops itself.

Direct Support Parent Workshops.

We lead a direct support parents workshop. These workshops will be tailored to the parents and can be delivered either virtually or in-person.

This option delivers an immediate, high quality training event for your parents.
Direct support parent workshops are limited to 20 parents in order to provide in-depth, personalized, and need-based support.

Our Philosophy

We Place Teachers First.

We employ a “teacher first” approach. By taking the time to understand and develop close working relationships with each individual educator, we can tailor our efforts around their specific needs. We have found that this philosophy leads to genuine adoption of our methods, more inspired classes, and lasting, impactful change.

We Approach Academic
Challenges Holistically.

We recognize that there are multiple key stakeholders in a students’ academic life, including teachers, parents, and administrators. We specifically offer virtual workshops during the day, after school, and on weekends, for both teachers and parents. In addition, we offer in-class observation and coaching. Through these efforts, we help build more cohesive, skillful teams that deliver better service to your students.
